Wedding Veil

Many modern brides find themselves debating whether or not they should wear a veil on their wedding day!

Traditionally, veils are used to symbolize virginity and modesty; in this case the veil is usually worn to cover the head and face of the bride as a symbol of her virginity. When at the end of the ceremony the veil gets lifted by the bride’s father or groom.

Nowadays in the case where the bride is not a virgin but still would like to wear a veil on her wedding day... The bride enters the ceremony with the veil not covering her face and the unveiling part of the ceremony is omitted.

As a religious item, the veil is used to show honor to the object it covers.

Nevertheless, informally speaking, there is always a scent of mystery to a veiled bride. The beautiful woman behind the veil…

The veil can also be a beautiful element for boudoir photo shoots..
